Services / Speed optimisation
Your site,
noticeably faster.
I optimise loading and Core Web Vitals, aiming for the green. Pages that answer on the spot, on phone and on desktop, without me touching your design.

From me

When a site takes 7–8 seconds or more to load, the person who wanted to come in leaves. Or never gets in at all. The speed of your site hits the experience of everyone who reaches you, directly.
In short: you start losing opportunities, conversions, customers and money, purely because your site loads slowly, or very slowly.
After I optimise it, your customer doesn’t get the chance to change their mind, give up or leave. They are already in the page, looking at your products, your services or your brand.
And I don’t want you to take my word for it. Put this page through any speed measuring tool — PageSpeed Insights, for example — and look at the numbers.
Why it matters
Speed isn't cosmetic, it's business
Higher in Google
Core Web Vitals is one of the ranking signals. A fast site starts with an advantage over one that drags.
Pages that load instantly, on mobile and on desktop. Higher in Google, more conversions, without touching your design.
More conversions
Every extra second of loading sends people back to the Google results. Speed keeps the visitor on the page.
A better experience
Smooth on phone and on desktop, with no stutter when you scroll and no delay when you click.
What I optimise
I go at everything that holds the site back
Every area below can add seconds to the load. I take them one at a time.
Modern format, correct dimensions, loaded only when they come into view.
Self-hosted, with display swap, so the text does not block rendering.
I cut the unused code and take out what blocks rendering.
SSR/ISR and streaming, with priority on what is seen first.
Content delivered from as close to the visitor as possible.
Chat, analytics and pixels, loaded only when they are genuinely needed.
Results
This is what the difference looks like, in numbers
A sample Lighthouse report, with indicative values — so you see which metrics I track and what they look like once they reach the green. Your own numbers I measure before we start, and I leave them with you in the final report.
Metrics
Figures from a typical unoptimised site. Every project starts from a different point, so I don't treat them as a fixed promise.
How I work
Four steps, from audit to a fast site
- 01
Audit & measurement
I start from real numbers: PageSpeed, field data, and the pages dragging the site down.
- 02
Plan
I work out what brings the biggest gain for the smallest risk, and in what order to go at it.
- 03
Implementation
I work on images, fonts, code and caching, without breaking what already works.
- 04
Verification
I measure again, compare against the starting point, and leave you a clear report.
Quote
Want a price? Answer a few questions
A few clicks and I come back with a quote for optimising your site.
What kind of site is it?
Next
Read about it, or see where it was done
The articles explain the subject properly, and the projects show the numbers measured after the work.
How fast does your website actually need to be
I measured three sites built in different ways and put the numbers side by side. The difference isn't tenths of a second, it's three and a half times. Plus the thresholds Google uses and why your score doesn't move the moment you fix something.
